RULES of the Game:
1. ‘Lucratif’ is a portfolio game in which
you trade on BSE Stocks with a virtual money of Rs.10,00,000/-
2. The stocks need to be picked from S&P
BSE 100 constituent stocks (100 stocks)
3. Minimum amount to be invested in stocks is
Rs. 5,00,000/
4. Uninvested amount (not exceeding Rs. 5,
00,000) will be considered to be retained as cash.
5. S&P BSE 100 Stocks have been divided
into 8 sectors namely Finance, FMCG, IT and Telecom, Capital Goods, Oil, Gas
& Power, Healthcare, Metals and Mining and Automobiles and Transport.
6. Investment in each sector cannot exceed Rs.
3, 00,000 (based on the closing prices of 20th September, 2013).
7. The investor with the highest portfolio
value based on 27th September, 2013 (Friday) closing prices of BSE will be
adjudged as the winner of the event.
8. All closing/opening prices considered should
be of S&P BSE 100.
9. There will be just one person per team and
it is open to both 1st year and 2nd year students of all B-schools.
10. The participants are not allowed to change
their participant name during the event.
11. Non-compliance to any of the above mentioned
criterion will lead to disqualification.
12. In case of any clashes, time stamp will used
for declaring the winner.
13. In case of any disputes, the decision of
X-Fin (Finance Club), XIMB will be final and binding.
